I was in the first group o people to sign my lease and move into Our Saviour Thistletown Lutheran Lodge in September 1992. During the past 25 years I have made many good friends but unfortunately many have moved on to other facilities or have passed away. However I have many precious memories of them. I’m involved in the Tenants Association Committee so … making many new friends. It is my hope and prayer that I can continue to live more years in Lutheran Lodge.Ruby S.

Moving into my cozy, comfortable, one-bedroom apartment at Our Saviour Thistletown Lutheran Seniors Lodge was one of the best decisions that I’ve made since my retirement. My apartment fits my needs, and the building itself is kept clean, neat, and well maintained. The other residents whom I’ve met are friendly but very respectful of each other’s privacy. The building is an independent living facility, but there are activities for those who wish to participate. These activities include monthly dinners, line dancing, ESS sponsored exercise classes, and more.

I feel very at home in this well-kept, friendly seniors apartment building. I like the fact that there are many activities available such as monthly dinners, exercise classes and informal get-togethers for those that enjoy socializing. We can also relax in the bright 5th floor solarium and watch the deer in the park below or sit and read a book by the fireplace. I also appreciate the security of having the ESS support services in the building for times when one might need help due to health problems or just a daily check. Visitors always remark on the beautiful flower gardens in the front of the building so I feel happy to invite people to visit.Barbara N.

The environment affords me a perfect blend of privacy and companionship. Planned social events are more than adequate and I'm free to join in, but not obligated to attend. Access to facilities such as library ,exercise room, dining & BBQ are readily available. The management staff and maintenance group are cheerful and helpful with all issues.
In my eight years here, there has not been a single occasion where I felt obligated to register a complaint about neighbours,facilities , or employees.J. McNabney

Our Saviour Thistletown Lutheran Lodge on it's 25th Anniversary.

This Special anniversary presents a wonderful opportunity to reflect on past successes, set future goals and explore new and exciting opportunities.
This facility comprises of 80 units, 4 of which are accessible and offers housing to seniors through a supportive housing program provided by Etobicoke Service for Seniors.

I wish the staff at Our Saviour Thistletown Lutheran Lodge continues success as their loving team continue to provide excellent service to our senior community and residents.
